Making the movie: This movie was produced to the sound track of "Drive By" by Train. It used 365 images, almost all submitted by hikers from the class of 2011.
Each edit is timed to approximately 0.492 seconds and the total song time (3:16) was proportionately allotted by miles of the trail. Roughly, California at 1700 miles,
was allotted 1700/2600 or 63% of the 3 minutes and 16 seconds of the song. Oregon and Washington each received 18.5% or about 36 seconds (roughly 73 images each).
Special thanks to the 80 hikers who submitted images, many of which were spectacular!
