1966: Began 35 year career as a flight attendant (stewardess) for Northwest Orient Airlines (became Northwest and is now Delta).
What an experience! I went places and saw things I would never have experienced if not for the job. Loved (nearly) every minute of it. Retired in May of 2001.

1969 : Married my first husband who is deceased.

1972
: Son and only child is born. Still a proud Mom.

1977
: Learned to fly single engine plane and got my private pilot's license (not current). After solo my feet didn't touch the ground for weeks. Huge Thrill!

1978:
Learned to skydive and made first jump. I was too inexperienced to be scared. In those days you jumped solo with a surplus army chute , no tandem jumps. Ha!

1986
: Began 20 year service as a volunteer at the Minnesota Zoo. Lots of animal handling and a complete joy. I've always loved animals!

1989
: Married the "love of my life", the most wonderful human on the planet. David Matzke

1991:
Began second career as a Realtor. Currently licensed in Minnesota and Florida.

2001:
Started to spend winters in Naples, Florida and summers in Minnesota.

2008: Began service as a volunteer for Avow Hospice Naples. Very rewarding.

Present:
David and I spend 8 months in Naples and 4 months in Minnesota each year.

That's it in a nutshell. I have been able to cross nearly everything off my "bucket list". I've been just about everywhere, and have done too many things to even begin to list. I feel so fortunate for my life's experiences and look forward to new adventures in the future. Wishing all my classmates the best of everything!
