Wow!! Where does one begin?

Looks like I will not be making it to our 50th due to family date conflicts. But I sure do have some very fond memories of many of you that will be there.

Currently, my wife, Jill (46 years) and I live in beautiful Laguna Niguel just one mile from Dana Point Harbor California. We had lived and gone to school in the San Fernando Valley ( yes , we are Valley kids ) for many years before re-locating to live near our older son who was just discharged from the USMC after the first Gulf War. We have two sons, Ron -46, Craig- 44 and three grandkids, Cordovan-16, Kohl-13, and Sunny-4. Life has been good!!!

I arrived in Japan in early January 1960. As I remember the USS Sultan moving dockside after a two week voyage from San Francisco through the Aleutian Islands during the month of December ( snow and ice on the ship).Started school in Japan while in Jr High and left during my first semester of my Jr. Year.

My father was still in the Marine Corps, but my parents choose to have the family live in the San Fernando Valley while my father commuted on weekends.

Graduated from Reseda High School in June of 64 (so like many of us, I had two graduating classes).

At that time I had been awarded a Presidential nomination to the Air Force Academy , but unfortunately my chemistry scores( I knew I should have studied harder ) did not meet the entrance level. So, at 17 I stared my freshman year at California State University in Northridge, Ca.

I graduated in late 69’ and went to work with Texaco Oil Company for the next 3 years. From there I went to work with Bristol Myers Squibb Pharmaceuticals and worked my way up the corporate ladder over the next 36 years. My last position was Executive Business Manager for most of the S California and Hawaii areas. Retired in 2009.

Currently, assisting my wife in her business (caregiver agency) in the sales and marketing end, while at the same time have similar business of my own.

Things I and my family enjoy: We are very active in snow sports, and have converted from skiing to snowboarding. We have season passes for Mammoth but we also go our vacation home in Lake Tahoe.

Our sons and I have for years ran the Camp Pendleton “ Mud Run” each June for the last 10 years ( this last year we did not , since I had broken my back last September ).

We have a Seadoo that we usually take out in the ocean off Dana Point Harbor or south to Mission Bay –San Diego. Love to wine taste as well as spend time with family and friends. Now the big question is what do I want to do when I grow up !!

Have Fun Everyone - Wish I was there !!!!
